Der Liverpool Football Club eröffnete offiziell seine sanierte Haupttribüne nur 643 Tage später, als die Arbeit an dem Projekt begonnen wurde. Besitzer des Clubs, Geschäftsführer, Manager, Geschäftsführer und ehemalige Spieler wurden von der Anfield Road Projektpartner Liverpool City Council und Ihrer Housing Group zusammen mit Vertretern anderer Organisationen auf der Haupttribüne für die Veranstaltung eingeladen.
